About Kirkbrae Aged Care services
Kirkbrae offers a comprehensive range of facilities and aged care services options to suit all social and financial situations. Private rooms enable residents to have areas that meet their individual needs and abilities. With natural light from large windows, residents are able to enjoy beautiful views over established gardens.
We provide opportunities for residents to experience variety every day. This enables more moments of happiness and enjoyment in resident’s daily lives.
Comfort with care and support
The majority of our residents are approved for permanent residential care.
Permanent care offers dedicated care support with daily activities, mobility equipment, medication assistance, all meals, personal care items, continence management and assistance with access to other health services.
Residential respite care, often referred to as short-term care, allows the primary carer to take a much-needed break or to assist when extra care is needed following a hospital stay or illness. Respite care at Kirkbrae can be arranged by contacting our friendly team. Commonwealth funding for respite services is available to eligible persons for up to 63 days each financial year.
Palliative care requires special attention and thought. We have experienced and dedicated staff that are trained to look after residents and their families at this emotional time. Our Pastoral Care team are specially trained to provide the highest level of comfort, support and care for residents nearing the end of life.
At Kirkbrae, we don’t have a specific dementia-secure wing. We do have many residents with forms of dementia who live happily in our supportive environment with dignity and respect.
